I am Adenike Talabi, please call me Nikki. I am originally from Nigeria; I graduated from Morgan State University with a B.S in Information Systems & Sciences in May 05, currently working for Lockheed Martin contracting for the HQ Army Material Command in VA. My goal is to get a Master’s degree in Computer Systems Management with a track in Information Assurance. My hobbies are surfing the web, singing, listening to music, bowling, shooting pool, reading and so on, and then most of all going to church.

Sounds like you have a terrific job with Lockheed Martin. I'm interested in Information Assurance as well. You may have enough IA experience to take the CISSP exam which will really help your career. It has opened some doors for me.
Your first blog ever? Great! It is no different than a diary but just make those connections between what you learned and your Lockheed Martin job (or personal life).

thank you, I'm really looking into taking the CISSP cert/exam, but I'm currently working in the Networking field, hoping to get some exposure in my Information Assurance classes as well as getting a position in the field after completing my master' degree.
